                Afternoon:         2:30 to 3:30 pm

Two fun guys hike! Join Greg Meredith and Alex Parniak, GRCA Resource Interpreters as they lead you on an exploration hike to see what fungi are present in the Rockwood Conservation Area in the fall. They'll discuss identification of mushrooms that are safe to eat (and which aren't) as well as other edible wild treats.

Meet at entrance to Rockwood Conservation Area, just a few blocks west of the festival site.   Ask for information at the Rockwood Conservation Area booth at the festival.

Rockwood Mushroom Fest participants pay a reduced admission fee to park – just show your festival entrance stamp.

Adults: $5;                                     Seniors and persons with disabilities: $4.
Children 6 to 14 years old: $2.                     Children under 6 years old are free.

Note: There will be a limited number of participants on each hike, so register early.
